5 Day Clean Eating Challenge
Sometimes, making the best food choices can be challenging! Now, it’s a REAL Challenge: the 5 Day Clean Eating Challenge! Congratulations on taking the first steps towards bettering your health! By engaging in activities such as the 5 Day Clean Eating Challenge, you will make yourself more aware of better nutritional choices with foods that will fuel your body. Sun Nation Fitness is a virtual fitness nation run by Sunni Hearin, an Independent Team Beachbody Coach working and living in Seattle, Washington. As an Independent Team Beachbody Coach, coaches represent the mission statement of Beachbody: “to help people achieve their goals and enjoy healthy, fulfilling lives”. One way for us to do that is to offer free groups like this, to raise awareness of proper nutrition and fitness, and work together toward ending the trend of obesity.
How Does The Challenge Work?
This 5 Day Challenge is designed with the busy adult in mind! Failing to plan our eating choices is the same as planning to fail, so get ready to GET ORGANIZED for the week! You are going to plan out your calories for the week with the help of the menu suggestions. Time to Change Your Daily Habits: There is something for everyone in the challenge.
First timers might want to make it a goal to just eat clean all week; others may shoot for losing weight by reducing their current caloric intake. Others may wish to only try and drink 100% of the water schedule. So why does this plan work? By eating frequently and staying hydrated, your body will actually kick into calorie burning mode.
It is important to eat the breakfast/lunch/dinner for sure; incorporate the snacks if you are staying on point with the calories from the 3 main meals. It is when you UNDEREAT that your body holds onto calories, thinking it doesn’t know when it will be fed next; and it starts to store fat. Eating Schedule: There are 5 possible meals each day and 5 possible scheduled water intakes. We have assigned 1 point for each successful consumption of water and each meal. Therefore, a perfectly planned Monday would be worth 10 points total. The entire weekly challenge is worth 50 points. There will be small prizes awarded for the folks who can stick to the plan the best! Challengers are added into a private Facebook group for fun and accountability!
